The Redeemer
Happy Monday, everybody! Jimmy and Joe are back, fresh off an argument, and ready to talk about Jesus, “the Redeemer of God’s elect,” what his redeeming work consists of, and the eternal sonship of Jesus. And of course, the Baptist Catechism. Plus, Jimmy has #bananabelly.
Baptist Catechism Q. 24
Q. Who is the Redeemer of God’s elect?
A. The only Redeemer of God’s elect is the Lord Jesus Christ; who, being the eternal Son of God, became man, and so was and continueth to be God and man in two distinct natures, and one person for ever.
