The 1689 on Justification (11.1, 2)

Jimmy and Joe are all over the “cardinal doctrine” of the Christian faith, the doctrine and Justification from Chapter 11, paragraphs 1 and 2, from the 1689 Confession. What does it mean to be justified? If we are justified by faith alone, why do we say that the faith that justifies never stands alone?
